Breaking news on the Motivation Series

Following the final motivation race our ladies team were crowned the 2010 champions. This is the first time we have ever won the event. Congratulations to all ladies who represented the club during the season.

Headington 10k, Sunday 5th September 2010

The organiser of this race sent this information:

A reminder to your club that it is the Headington 10k this Sunday (10:30am) at the Worminghall Airfield. We will be taking entries on the day at £12, however, if you have not yet entered and would like to run, you can bring your entries to the Oxford Mota-vation this Thursday and still take advantage of the £9 advanced entry fee. Please hand your entries to Headington Chair Adrienne Hopkins or to Richard Skilbeck.

Important Info-Eynsham 10k 2010

10K entry form 2010 Eynsham

This years Eynsham 10k will be on Sunday 28th November. It incorporates the county 10k championship and is the final round of the grand prix series. It will reach the race limit well before race day, so could you please enter early to avoid disappointment.

Andy Reading 2010-Entry Form

The 2010 entry form for Andy Reading 10k is now available on this website. Please follow the link ‘our races’ and go to Andy Reading. The charity benefiting from this race will this year be Clic Sargent, a change from MacMillan Cancer.

Important News Regarding Pace Improvement Sessions

As of Tuesday 7th September the pace improvement sessions will move from BSA in Chesterton to Gavray Drive, Bicester. Times remain the same with a 7pm start. Any queries please contact Richard Gould rich@rgould.co.uk

Train to be a jog-group leader

Cherwell District Council has partnered with England Athletics and are sponsoring beginners Jog Groups all over England under the “Run in England” banner.  There are already several groups operating in Bicester.

 The Council have announced that they are planning on getting some more training for jog leaders to take place in Oxford in Sep/October time. If you, or anyone you know, is interested in leading a group, please contact:
