Alchester Summer 5k Wednesday 10th August 2022 - entries available on the night

The course is a fast and flat road route around the village of Marsh Gibbon.

Race HQ will be located at Marsh Gibbon Cricket Club (postcode OX27 0HG).

We're a very friendly running club based in Bicester and were formed in 1999 with the intention of developing road, cross country and trail running in the Bicester area for all ages (over 18) and abilities. We actively encourage the social as well as the competitive aspect of the sport and whilst we like competition we try not to take things too seriously.


During the Covid-19 lockdown earlier in 2020, members of the club still managed to get out running and support the local community by delivering prescriptions to those vulnerable people who were unable to collect them, helping people stay safe. The clubs efforts did not go unrecognized and we received an 'Unsung Hero' certificate to thank us for this work.



We meet every week on a Tuesday and a Thursday

Winter (from September) - at Gavray Drive, Bicester

 

Thursday Club Night
Bicester & Ploughley Sports Centre (meet at the rear by the bowling centre)
